Eat Big, to be Big
I tend to eat Cereals in the morning (Cookie Crisps - like eating cookie/cereals and still having fibers) and Oatmeal when I ran out of Cereals, still good for the heart. Whatever goes if I get hungry for I always wake up late like 12pm (and that's my breakfast time), and between that, before going to work, I, sometimes eat a banana, or some peanut butter sandwich, or at least a handful of almonds (almonds is a must for everyday). Then apple and banana during break time 0r snack time, Salad for my dinner which includes Fish stick/Salmon/Chicken Nuggets for the flavoring/topping. I usually eat dinner after I went to the gym, if I did not go.
Having said my at least basic food intakes, I still don't know much of what I am getting. (Fat, Protein, Calories, Carbohydrates). So in order for me to know how to gain/lose/burn some fat or muscle, I should know the minerals that my body is taking.
I think I'm a health conscious now. I always take a look of the product's Nutrition Facts. To see how many carbs are in there, fat, calories, etc. Trying to take a look if I'm having too much. But now that I weight between 116~123lbs, I don't know exactly if my body is burning or gaining some fat or muscles. As far as I know, I can eat whatever I want if I want to, and as long I can feel soreness after working out. Then I can tell that at least I did something good to make one step to the 'tone' I like.
I haven't read most of the parts yet, but I googled some of 'calories per day needed to gain muscle'. The results are heaps, and still I have to figure out if I am doing good at my food intake. I am looking for a food intake calculator that will help me on how much nutrition I am getting with those food I just said that I am taking.
-------------------------------need to be fix. I don't want this one to be save as a draft so.. I am sharing what I need right now, and my eyes are keep on blinking which is my que to go to sleep. lol.

Playlist....
Even at work that my coworker are/were amused that I happen to know alMOST of the lyrics that has been playing while we are working. "Okay, I swear, everytime you go here (cash register) and some music plays, you happen to know all the song (well, just most of the lyrics)" They (Tara and Patricia), has been listening then eh? I just don't tell em that most of it are in my iPod that is why. I don't have a radio so I do check some of the stations here, or while going to and from the gym travel time, most of the new songs I heard are from those stations, 94.1, 93.1, 102.7, 107.5..
I got hooked up listening to music when I was in highschool. Only and still, errr almost all of them are english, so I barely listens to Tagalog ones, yeah but idk about most of tagalog, I only know Parokya ni Edgar, Eraserheads, Rivermaya, Bamboo and that's it (I forgot some) but those are the only ones that has good type of music in Tagalog, Urbandub is one but all of their songs are still in english so....
I always makes some playlist on my iPod Classic. It depends on my mood on which one to listen to, what genres, beat, new/old... So browsing on my Music, most of them are downloaded by album so I don't really know some of the songs. If I am on the mood, I will put 'em on a new playlist.
I listen to most of genre's, from country to rock, reggae to pop, to christian or rnb's. As long as it gives good beat (I used to like low bass then) that has good bass if you put the volume on more loud mode. Beat, meaning, easy to catch up, or remember, and the Artist is well-known.
I have been putting up some music here on my blog page, and would like to track on which I had post. This one's for this blog only, I might share some of mine in my iPod but that's too many songs, most of the time I play is just the "Lift" playlist which has 62 songs in it, I can only listen to half of it when I'm in the gym (12-15songs/hr) and the other songs are just getting skipped.
I play upbeat of course most of the time, just to boost my pumping, running and getting back to mood. I play rock when I'm in the wet sauna, idk why, but it's fun playing rock when you are really sweating. They even ask me what am I listening to and some suggested to listen to this band.
I will still update this everytime I put a new one...
You can comment here if you think there's a good one!
So I can listen to it also. =)
Current Song: Don't Trust Me - 3oh13
Next on my list:
~ Birthday Sex - Jerimih
~ Boom Boom Pow - BEP
Previous ones:
~ My Love by The Dream ft/ Mariah Carey
~ Day 'N Nite by Kid Cudi
~ Ashes by Pepper
~ Give it up by Pepper
~ Gotta be somebody by Nickelback

Slow
The store has been slow for the past few days, even our computer registers. I just got off from work and having difficult to understand the words my co workers were saying. As well for the water guy seller that just came offering to sell water outside the unit of our condo.
Happy does not want to take me to the gym yet. Until my doctor says I'm 'ok' then that's the signal for me to go back again. And will wait for that until monday for the clinic to be open. Yeah, it sucks big time having to miss gym, well, for me, it's like I have gotten used to going at least 4 times a week, and now missing 2days of my 4x. Bah... I applied my online/temporary discount card, hopefully it's a valid one.
I had a check up last Thursday, the doctor said to try a anti-allergies pills (Claritin D) google it if you are curious. I still don't care, I don't think I have an alergy/gies,but yeah, that was the doctor said, blah blah blah... EKG was done, 57BPM apparently. Being an issue. Now I've got the referral from her too *my left leg is having cramps right now argh* to go to cardiologist...
Dx - Sinus Bradycardia
what my EKG result what it looks like.
from Mayoclinic.com
Your heart normally beats between 60 and 100 times a minute to provide enough oxygen-carrying blood to your body. A heart rate below 60 beats a minute is called bradycardia.
Although a heart rate this slow can be normal during sleep or in a well-trained athlete, bradycardia signals a problem if you have signs and symptoms such as fainting or shortness of breath.
- probably the red word made me go something like that in order for the doctor to get the slowness beating of my heart.
I just don't get it. I am blogging this one. My oldest sister told Happy to not to take me to gym bah.. But I said to Happy to still take me and she wouldn't.. That's prolly the reason I blogged this one.
Now will wait on Monday to have me check and see what will happens.

¡Se Habla Espanol!
¿Donde mi burrito at? ¿and side chalupas'.? lol.. I, actually Happy ran into some books and saw this (picture on the right) and had me buy it. I just glanced over it tonight and it's kinda funny that I'm imitating mexican/spanish accent while I read the book. It's a bit hard if you don't know how to understand other peoples language. Sometimes it annoys you that maybe you are the topic of what they are talking about, or just being paranoid there at the moment. We, or some of Filipino's know most of the words from spanish,
" Spanish was an official language of the Philippines since colonization by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi in the 16th century until the change of Constitution in 1973. The First Philippine Republic of 1899 chose Spanish as its official language, but during the US occupation and administration of the islands English was imposed and Spanish became gradually marginalized."
For it has been one of our official language then. Moving on, now that I am here in US, but still thanking that I even get to know English, which is the world's common spoken language. Eventhough I don't really listen or good when it comes to English subject, I still made my way in order to "understand" what it is all about.
Many Mexicans or should I say Hispanic race are here in US, it annoys a bit that they are residing here but most of them doesn't know how to speak one. I'll leave the reason to them. That's why Happy asked me to get this book. So I just glanced/scanned through it or w/e. Most of the jobs here are bilingual related as preffered but not necessary. So in order for me to get a good job, or at least high chances of getting hired, I need to learn how to speak one. Hopefully I learn much and improve my pinoy-spanish-common-language. heh..
¡Salud!

What a day..... Earth day... again?
I woke up from sleeping like 5hours only. (counting) I slept 5am, so woke up 10am basically.
Shit, there's no milk.
Shit, there's no bread.
Shit, there's nothing to eat basically.
I had a few leftovers of bacon yesterday, yes, I eat some greasy stuff too. I deserve it (I think). and Half of salmon (like the one's in tuna cans). and iced tea.
Shit.... still no good. but I waited for 10mins in order my body to fully digest it and yeah, it was hell of a good breakfast.
Heaps of emails to reply onto. I can't even tell whom I replied with.
Job hunting online. Made a few phone calls, follow ups, inquiring and catching up.
Happy went out to check some houses. She found one, said it will be
So MGM swimming got canceled. /facepalm uber hot outside. So we went to the bank instead and I deposited some savings... yeah it's a bit few but at least I'm earning.
Sidetracked, I has cheeseberger, and a Hot fudge sundae (so now I ate a chocolate), trying to limit sugar from now on tho, I found it's the same thing like drinking soda. 86º outside. Wore a tank, boardies, sandals, and oakley. woot finally I went out wearing just those on.
Work........ It's Earth day... Not-so-likey-manager is closing, Credit-card-junkie on front desk.
Half of the store lightings were off. A slow day.
*puts fake smile on and fake hello's" being asked by the manager. Like WTF, I already told you that and I know I wasn't suppose to answer those another rethoricals. But hey you asked me, I answer you. That how it goes.
Good thing time went fast at work. The slowliness driving us being on the floor slow too. I don't hold the conversation, I always agree, even if I don't want to.
Happy picked me up. Had some KFC's. Everyday it frustrates me not having a DL. I can't go to gym by myself. As much as I wanted to, I'll hit the gym every effing day. That's like my second place aside in front of this, typing. Watched new episode of GG. Nate,Chuck and I had a drink though they bailed me out too soon tho.
So that's it. another boring day, just killing time typing. Will hit the gym tomorrow morning for four hours, coolness..Good, I get A DAY off, at least I'll be expecting greens this coming friday + Ice cream, Our baseball team won again the second inning, thanks to CreditWhore lol. I'm smelling pizza next week, and subways.
Catch you all later.

Movies...
Watching a movie is just to kill time, have fun, cry, laugh, think, just to-be-with-someone-on-a-date excuse, at least for more people.
When I was back in CA, we used to watch a/2 movies a night, we go out and rent 2 dvd's, my cousin Keith and Renan are a member of this dvd rental (hollywood video I think) store. So whichever a good movie released on a dvd, we hire 'em. Setting up 'the Room', putting out the chips, turning on the subtitles (I sometimes don't get what they were saying so I need em on, and no, I'm not hearing impaired). There you go. To Drama, to Comedy, to Horror or Suspense, to Action or adventure, to Sci-fi or True-to-life, we all have seen one. For every movie we saw, we always makes a comment. These are my reviews, or comments to a movie I have recently seen, and feel free to leave one on what you think about that movie too.
I guess my prediction for Fast and Furious were right too. Went $72.5m on opening day. Sad I didn't have a chance to see it.
I did not really expected that to happen, from the 2001 casts to reunion this year 2009's. Sad I did not go to watch it on opening day. Now I am looking for it to see, and guessing to see it on DVD version or HD at least heh. So Chala, let's go watch it on DVD/HD when it comes out ok?
Now here's my list of movies to watch. (comment on this one, act like a movie critic!)
Watching Right now:
Ghost Town - it's a bit funny hey but I'm still in the middle part of the movie.

Top 10 Foods

1. Tomatoes
The all-powerful tomato can do all kinds of things. It's rich in lycopene, an important nutrient that may lower your risk for all kinds of cancer, prostate included. Plus, it packs serious Vitamin C.
2. Greens
Dark leafy veggies are rich in vitamins such as K, C, E and B and minerals including iron, calcium, potassium and magnesium. They also pack omega-3 fats and beta-carotene. And they're practically carb-free! I love braised greens (steam until bright green, then sauté in olive oil and garlic, cover, turn off the heat and let finish cooking through). Any kind of green will do, from Swiss chard to kale to collard greens. They're all delicious.
3. Almonds
I'm a huge fan of nuts, especially raw almonds (and walnuts, too). They can significantly reduce blood cholesterol in just four weeks, but are high in calories, so keep portion control in mind. I place 10 of them in a ramekin and munch on them at my desk. (It's too easy to eat too many, so I measure my servings.) I take my time and they seem to last. I also carry little Ziploc bags of almonds in my purse for an emergency snack.
4. Onions
The lowly onion seems to find its way into almost everything you make, especially come dinnertime. Eating onions is a cheap way to get your flavonoids, important nutrients that help protect your lungs from cancer and your stomach from ulcers. Plus, they help prevent heart disease and raise the "good" cholesterol in your blood.
5. Salmon
I absolutely adore grilled salmon, but it has to be the wild variety if you want the benefit of the omega-3 fatty acids (farm-raised salmon doesn't cut it). Heat up the barby, throw on the frozen salmon — skin side down — sprinkle some seasoning (generously, I might add) and that's it! Easy and absolutely delicious, no planning necessary.
6. Frozen berries
I make smoothies from frozen berries every morning. I use wild blueberries and a mix of blackberries and raspberries. Blueberries are especially healthy: two-thirds a cup packs more antioxidants than five servings of broccoli.
7. Kefir and yogurt
Kefir is like liquid yogurt. It's chock full of probiotics and helps your body balance in the gut. Remember those stories of people living to be 120 years old in Russia? Yogurt and kefir were what they credited their longevity to. Use kefir in smoothies, and eat yogurt with a splash of vanilla and a squeeze of honey.
8. Oats
Fiber-rich oats help your body stabilize blood sugar levels and reduce cholesterol. A perfect breakfast is a bowl of oatmeal with about a half cup of frozen blueberries. Fiber is critical for important bodily functions, if you know what I mean, and oatmeal is a great way to get it.
9. Dark chocolate
Hallelujah! Dark chocolate is rich in catechins and flavonoids, giving you a big dose of antioxidants and helping to boost your good cholesterol. An ounce a day is a more than adequate serving, and it needs to be dark — the darker the better.
10. Oranges
While we may no longer suffer from scurvy, a lot of us have marginal levels of vitamin C in our blood, and some of us have a deficit. When you consider the fact that oranges, in their flavonoid richness, have the ability to fend off cancer and cardiovascular disease and protect one's DNA, it's amazing that most of us aren't chugging a glass of OJ each morning! Get the pulp-rich variety for an extra boost of Vitamin C.

Back on Track

Definitely back on track. I just enrolled to Las Vegas Athletic Club as a member. I tried to look a fitness center near at my place but could not find any. Every time I passed by to the highway of 95, I always see LVAC. I knew that I will end up going to that gym. I saw their enrollment fee for only $5! Hellz Yeah! Only five bucks, I bought my sister to enroll me to that gym though 13~15mins drive from my place.
I just started my workout today, at 11:00pm I think. $5 for enrollment fee, and $22/month, and it will depend on what your program or package they are offering, I signed up for the basic one, which is all by yourself workout, and I even got a two 1week free guest pass. I even got my LVAC card right away (just like a licence driver). Right after that, I started my workout. Did ran 2miles, Abs, dumbbell flyes, shoulders, pull ups, etc. for 2½ hours I believed.
I was kind of disappointed for only using the 10~30lbs range of weights, and as well for my low stamina at the moment. Hoping I can get back my lost strength and gain more as time goes by.
It was quite a difference having to go to the gym, and having to use Bowflex at our place.
LVAC has a lot to offer. They have these free trainings like KickBoxing, Pilates, Body Pump, Aquatic Aerobics (I wonder what that thing does) and a lot more (not aware at the moment and to lazy to put all) They have an oval/running track which you can run of course, but indoor at second floor. I haven't notice any equipments that I am looking for, I only used dumbbells for bench press replacement.
There's also a dry and wet sauna, I haven't gone there yet too. I'll definitely going there when I go back. I did my work out and head to the locker room, I need to buy a lock, iPod Classic armband at least, and need to find my gloves. After that, I went to take a shower, they only have like 8 stalls and no curtains, you'll be facing the other cubicle naked hah. Really nice having a warm shower after that workout. I need to upgrade my membership for 2 more dollars. It includes towel usage for the whole month. sweet.
I checked my weight, woot! 121.8lbs, on the manual weighing scale like the ones in the hospitals.
Current BMI: 19.53
Ideal BMI Range: 18.5~25.9
Now need to track my workout program.

Start!

Woot. I got hooked by my cousin's into blogging. pretty gey imo. Not really into blogs and stuff. Starting now, but I must keep this on my mind to update this page every now and then. I might not be good in writing nor grammar and even spelling, so heads up, I'm terribad in such.
If some of my readers (I'm assuming more are reading) likes my post or at least. Then it'll make me want to update this more often and write more. I Must post to related issues we current have at the moment. Focus. I have a lot of things going inside my head. I just don't know where to begin.
I'll just introduce myself perhaps, I'm a Filipino, born and raised in the P.I. and currently staying here in USA, in Las Vegas Nevada. I work at a retail store, at the moment and still looking for other job that will make me earn enough to go back home and finish my study. It is really hard to find a job especially when you don't have enough experience that you have to sell yourself in order to the employer just to get hired. I kind of got used to live here in US, pretty much same when I was in P.I., I always stay in the house, playing/surfing with my computer. So yeah, gamer, surfer, anything goes under tech. I might say that my parents goes out a lot than me.
It's way different living outside the country, but I do adjust or adapt quickly with my environment. Only different or most of the difference are 1. Climate, there are four seasons here, and even got to see snow outside our condo unit. It was pretty cool, good thing it didn't last long, I don't want to clear the driveway everytime, 2. Always cold, I have to wear 2 clothes at least just to make my body in normal body heat range., 3. You get want you want, just make sure you have a job to keep it up. hehe. 4. People, they do greet you even if you don't know them, I was like ''okay", back in P.I., you don't say '" 'hey', 'wazzup', 'how's it going'" and some stuff like that. Well I think that's just for me.
I am frustrated with a lot of stuff, like having at least a good camera (even a bad one) for not owning one hehe, now that I'm here in US, I am still looking forward to go to a place where it snows, just for snowboarding or skiing, or to skydive or surf. Too many bud, might post different experiences with that hoping at least to get one. Frustrated with sports and fitness, sometimes I wished I went to school here just to know different kind of sports and feeling the hallways and locker on the hallways, I am only seeing 'em in the movies or tv series'. Fitness for I went here weighing 135lbs of muscle and some fats hehe. And now I 'was' overweight and now underweight and now maintaining my weight at least, (last time I checked I was 123lbs.) at least I can eat whatever I want now, but staying healthy in my ways. (I'll try to make another post for it)
It's 4:16am and I usually go to bed at this time. Looking for my iPod. I always sleep listening to music.
So I guess It's a start..
Need to fix still my site and if you do know how to improve mine with layouts, please, I do need help with it.
